Twogood Kayaks Hawaii

After picking you up from your Waikiki hotel, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive to Oahu’s windward (eastern) coast.

Our morning will begin with a short 30-minute hike along the Kaiwa (kay-i-wah) Ridge nestled in the Keoulu hills above Lanikai. This windswept hike will showcase a 360 degree view of beautiful Lanikai, Kailua, the Mokulua Islands and the lush volcanic Kooalu mountain range.

After our short hike, we’ll head to the beach for a kayaking lesson. From there you’ll enjoy a guided kayak tour on the calm reef-protected turquoise waters of Kailua Bay. Kailua’s warm, crystal-clear waters are populated with endangered Hawaiian green sea turtles, dolphins, exotic tropical fish, and, in season, humpback whales. Our trained Naturalist’s will guide you along this beautiful coastal area to several close offshore islets. Our guided narration will help you capture first-hand knowledge of Hawaii’s history, marine life and Oahu’s unique geological formations.

Once at the Mokulua Islands, we’ll land on its powder white sand beach to enjoy swimming, beach relaxation, picnic lunch (provided complimentary) or a nature walk to natural tide pools and breath-taking sea coves. The Mokulua offshore islets are inhabited by over twelve varieties of seabirds; a portion of the islands are designated a protected State Seabird Sanctuary.
