HAWAIIAN HEALING

If your Oahu spa visit is now a memory, a promise in the future, or merely a fantasy, mix up a batch of spa products in your own home. All the raw ingredients can easily be collected on Oahu or found in markets and natural foods stores if you are far from the Islands.

Pineapple Papaya Enzyme Body Scrub

Ingredients
1   Whole papaya
4 chunks   Fresh pineapple
cup   Corn meal

Preparation
Mix the papaya and pineapple in a blender until it turns to pulp. Put the pulp in a bowl and add the corn meal. Massage the mixture all over your body. The enzymes and acids from these fruits help firm and exfoliate your skin. The corn meal boosts the exfoliating action. Rinse off to reveal soft, smooth, glowing skin.

Green Tea Body Mist

Ingredients
1 Teabag   Green tea
1 Cup   Water
Calming Blend:
2 Drops Lavender essential oil
2 Drops Lime essential oil
Vitality Blend:
2 Drops Lemon essential oil
2 Drops Lime essential oil

Preparation
Steep the teabag in boiling water for two minutes. Remove teabag and add preferred essential oil blend. Pour infused green tea into pump spray bottle and place in refrigerator. Mist lightly on face and body to refresh and cool. The delicately fragrant spray combines the aromatic and healing benefits of essential oils with green tea's antioxidant properties to rejuvenate your skin.
