State of Hawaii Requirements

Congratulations! You have made the decision to have a destination wedding in paradise! Here’s some important information you’ll need for the big day. In order to get married in the State of Hawaii, you will need to obtain a Marriage License before you get married. You and your fiancé must go in person to the State Department of Health office and submit the application. You can download this application from their website and fill it out in advance to save some time. In any case, it is a good idea to review the application beforehand so you know you have all the necessary information needed prior to going to the office in-person. Please note that once this certificate is issued, your license is good for 30 days. To find the most up to date information on getting your marriage license contact the Hawaii State Department of Health:

State Department of Health
