1. IN THE MOOD - Start the romance before getting on the plane! Start with buying a Hawaiian music CD. Get home early and play it so they can hear it as soon as they open the door.
2. IN THE MOOD (ADVANCED) For added romance points, get home EXTRA early and set up a romantic dinner for two at home and add some orchid blooms on the dining table to accompany the music. ADD ON AS DESIRED… Orchids in bed, plumeria or pikake scented candles, orchids blooms starting at the door entrance leading to the dining room, give her a flower lei, or do the hula.
3. A FLOWER BED OF FUN – When you’re in Hawaii, contact a local florist or your hotel concierge to have your bed covered with beautiful orchids or plumeria before you arrive.
4. A LEI A DAY- Chinatown is a fun bustling place to explore during the day when the markets are open. You and your honey will find many flower lei shops along Maunakea Street. Stop in one of the stall and pick out lei for each other and then wear them to your dinner that evening. *If you can manage it, try surprising him or her with a new lei everyday…waiting for them to wear each morning.
5. HAWAIIAN JEWELRY – Give a gift of Aloha. Hawaiian jewelry offer very distinctive designs and are locally considered heirloom jewelry. Surprise him or her with a specially engraved bracelet or ring to always remind him or her of your wonderful romantic escape on Oahu.

10. HAWAIIAN SERENADES – Remake “your song” with a Hawaiian version in ukulele. Make a special request to the live entertainment at your favorite Oahu fine dining eatery.
